Renegade Craft Fair SF

On Sunday, I finally got to visit the Renegade Craft Fair. Last year, I missed it by just days, so over the weekend when my friend Meredith asked if I’d be interested in going last minute, I jumped at the chance!

In its 4th year in SF, this a once-a-year event features well over 200 vendors selling unique crafts — everything ranging from jewelry, to art, to candles, to clothes, to stationery. The best way to describe it is Etsy come to life. I loved the huge selection of affordable jewelry and I had to stop myself from buying all the adorable ceramic goods!

It was worth going to the fair just for the inspiration alone. Same as browsing on Etsy, I was so blown away by how creative people can be, and of course, their willingness to just go for it and open these small scale craft shops. My big purchase of the day was a hand-painted version of this print, which I brought home to big fan fare. You see, El Tonayense is our fave taco truck in the city. I love finding art for our home that means something to both Joe and I.

Have you ever been able to visit a Renegade craft fair (or any craft fair) in your area?
