What the font

Today I thought I’d share a couple resources with you that I use here on vmac+cheese. Hopefully they’ll come in handy!

If you make your own collages on your blog, one thing that is indispensable are lots of fun fonts to choose from. Lucky for us bloggers (or anyone, really!), many of these fonts are available for free if you are not using them for commercial projects. And even if you don’t blog, these are great to download anyway. Offline, I’ve used these fonts to design party invitations and thank you notes!

Here are some of my latest and greatest. You’ll probably recognize several of these — they’re quite popular these days.

So where did I find all these fabulous fonts? Check out DaFont and Urban Fonts for more fonts than you’ll know what to do with. Also, last October, Design*Sponge pulled together this great round-up of fonts, along with sources — you might find something you like there.

Along with font sites, I’ve also been known to turn to Polyvore and BigHugeLabs to put posts together. What about you? Any good online resources you use in the pursuit of blogging?

  1. Great roundup and some new resources to play with!! I’d have to say for me… pinterest has become a vital tool for pulling posts together and as a distraction!

  2. Yay! Thanks for this.

A girl really can’t have too many fonts these days. Will hop across and top up my (already extensive) list of fonts right now..!

    xx C
