Fashion Kismet

If you haven’t ventured out to the shops recently, you probably should. Sales are RIDIC right now, and often on inventory that is easily wearible into fall (and beyond!). Time to get while the gettin’ is good, or at least that’s what I told myself last night.

Behold:

Kelsey Ruffle Top (in navy). $23.99, yo. (Originally $88)

Sequin Drizzle Tank. $47. Boo-ya!

Scout Chino, in white, $23.99

Skimmer Pant, in black (perfect for work), $32

As with most J.Crew pants, the fit in real life tends to be a bit looser and baggier than what is always shown on the models. While normally this is rage-inducing, in the case of these particular pants, it works out perfectly, as everyone and their mom was rocking this look in Paris (which means in another 6 months to a year, it’ll be the look stateside. I’m telling you, STOCK UP NOW while this slouchier look still doesn’t translate). I am loving the tailored, slightly loose look of the scout chinos, especially when paired with a feminine, glam top, heels, and a little jacket. To die for.

P.S. The cost of the above 3 items, with tax, was less than what the sequin drizzle tank originally retailed for.

Also, I couldn’t say no to these shoes:

Nine West Rocha Pumps

Not on sale, but you can’t win ’em all.
